Cookies

Our websites partially use cookies. Cookies will not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies provide information about how you use the website. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your device when you visit a website.

We use session cookies most of the time. These cookies will expire at the end of the user session when you close your browser. In addition, we use persistent cookies that will remain valid until their set expiry date, unless deleted by the user. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser in case of future visits to our website.

You may configure you browser in a way that you will be notified when cookies are set and only allow cookies for individual cases, prevent cookies from being stored on your device in specific situations or generally or you even activate deleting cookies when closing your browser. If you disable or decline cookies, some features will not be available to you or will not work properly and you may not be able to access some parts of the website.

Cookies required to execute electronic communication or to provide you with specific and needed functions (eg cart) are stored in accordance with Art. 6 (1)(f) of the GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to enable technically perfect and optimized provision of services. Insofar other cookies (eg cookies to analyse your surfing behavior) are stored, they are described in an own section within this Privacy Policy.

Handling of contact details

When you contact the website operator using one of the contact options provided, your input is stored and used when processing and answering your inquiry. We will not pass on your details to third parties without your explicit consent.

Application

We, VIVAVIS GmbH and its subsidiaries, will use all the information you provide during the recruitment process to progress your application with a view to offering you an employment contract with us and assess your suitability for the role. We will only share your information with employees and departments within our company that are responsible for the particular application. We will not share any of the information you provide with any third parties. We only store your application documents for six months at maximum. As soon as the retention time has expired, all your details will be deleted and all paper documents will be destroyed.

SSL encryption

Transmission of confidential information is encrypted and protected using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Check your browser’s top address bar to find out whether SSL is used or not. URLs of unencrypted websites begin with http:// whereas websites using SSL always start with https://. Furthermore, do also look for an icon that depicts a closed padlock; the icon is usually located in the address bar or the bottom status bar.

Encryption makes it difficult for unauthorized people to view information travelling between computers. It is therefore unlikely that anyone reads the page as it travelled across the network.

Your right of access

You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information to find out what data is held, how it is used, where it came from and with whom it is shared. Please address any request to our data protection coordinator at VIVAVIS GmbH:
