Critical Vulnerabilities in QNAP NAS Firmware QTS Fixed

In the context of the recently published warnings concerning the QTS operating system of QNAP NAS systems, we would like to take the opportunity to point out once again that the QNAP NAS drives supplied to our customers are installed and operated by VIVAVIS AG in a secure network segment that is separated from the internet.
Therefore, we assess the situation as a low-risk one and do not see any urgent need for action. However, we generally recommend keeping the firmware of the NAS system up to date at all times.
